Lately this line from the song has stuck out to me whenever I listen to this song. If we are believers all of our scars will be removed when we get our brand new bodies in Heaven, but Jesus will bear the nail marks on His hands and feet for all of eternity. They will be there to forever remind us of the sacrifice He made by dying on the cross, so we will praise Him for all of eternity.
